The Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Open Lab Initiative was launched to encourage CRUK-funded labs and other groups working on cancer-related research to hold joint group meetings online during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. It was so successful that it now connects over 300 research groups across the UK, from Dundee to Pirbright, Norwich to Cardiff, and many other locations, resulting in new collaborative projects and new ideas to tackle cancer.
