Archaeological excavation of 3,000-year-old circular wooden houses at Must Farm in Cambridgeshire – described as the ‘Pompeii of the Fens’ – has yielded remarkable discoveries about everyday life in the Bronze Age that have enriched the region’s education, arts and local development. The spectacular finds will be deposited at Peterborough Museum and a planned heritage centre close to Must Farm will boost tourism and community engagement.
