Cambridge researchers have adapted this structured visual method to support GKN, a Redditch-based multinational automotive and aerospace components business which subsequently developed three new companies; and John Hogg Ltd in Manchester, which then reallocated £1.4 million worth of R&D investment to focus on key growth areas.
