Cambridge spinout UtterBerry, founded in 2013 by Heba Bevan during her PhD, builds AI sensor technology used to monitor the safety of infrastructure on national and international projects like Crossrail, Thames Tideway and London Underground. The company has based its manufacturing and innovation hub in Leeds, where it aims to create at least 400 full-time and 400 part-time jobs over the next five years to design and manufacture UtterBerry’s products.
