Motivating environmental sustainability in the food and drink sector

New research aims to help the food and drink sector improve their environmental performance. An ‘incentive-based regulatory’ approach was developed to help food companies harness business value from improving environmental performance continuously. To develop the approach, the researchers collaborated with Environment Agencies in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as more than 100 food businesses and organisations across the UK.
