Supporting social innovation and community regeneration

Research at the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation has supported hundreds of social innovators and organisations to increase the effectiveness of their ventures. For example, research with the Development Trusts Association Scotland (DTAS) looked at supporting community organisations who want to effect local economic development and social change. The collaboration now involves the Glenboig Development Trust (GDT), which is developing a sustainable programme to regenerate their community. GDT staff also teach students on the Masters of Social Innovation each year.
