The Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre in Glasgow will solve major pharmaceutical industry challenges, speed-up access to affordable medicines and create jobs. The facility will build on Cambridge-led research into continuous processing manufacturing networks as part of ReMediES, a £23 million university–industry collaborative project. The Centre is forecast to generate £200 million in advanced technologies over the first five years and will deliver a tangible impact for businesses – creating over 100 high-value jobs, enabling private investment, and building next-generation manufacturing assets and expertise.
